Michael I'm not a huge fan of modern jazz. But I've seen these guys several times and they really are worth a listen. In addition to having that jazz sound, you can tell they know their blues.



What's interesting about this track ("Monday Night at the Kat Club") is that the guys can really pump out piano rolls when needed but instead show admirable restraint, according to the age-old principle of less being more (not something most post-bop modern jazz bands seem to believe). They tour Belgium, Australia and Canada regularly. Where should they play in the UK?
