Green Man I do wonder if other venues will cancel their MM bookings.

Green Man So they council caved in. They should ban the following then from Brighton Simply Red, Jason Derulo, Boy George any Michael Jackson tribute and Cliff Richard.

Only in the UK you are guilty before going to court.

He is pretty old considering he is a contemporary artist. He's not much younger than some of the 80s artists on the nostaligia circuit

I didn't see the documentary but it does not surprise me what he called out. I can't recall anything outrageous when I saw MM, he walking around the stage seemed like a chore for him and wore leather trousers and a black shirt, apart from some small costume changes, like he wore a something that looked like a mu-mu.

When he sang Antichrist Superstar it was retro Manson, but when he sang Kill4Me he was waving his arms like it was a pop concert, only thing missing was a lighter or a mobile phone.

The shock factor was no longer there and due to age, his voice is getting weaker, natural ageing. I couldn't understand a word of Cry Little Sister.

Green Man I agree Robbie.

I have never heard he wanted 8th-grade ming TBH.

Manson is pretty much brand and knows how to shock the media and public to boost sales. Graham Norton had an interesting chat with him.

Smells Like Children is a perfect example of shock rock and has a secret recording with a fan who molested her much younger cousin. The album went Gold in the UK.

I remember when Woollies would say they would not stock the albums, etc of course, they did after a while, it was good marketing and publicity. I remember buying Antichrist Superstar when I was about 26 in Woollies, the young lady behind the checkout couldn't stop looking at the artwork, it was probably the longest transaction in the store's history.

MM knows how to get market his brand, to me that is all he is, a brand.

His genre is not meant to be commercial, but he pretty much is.

Brian Warner's grandfather was a very unsavoury person and Warner was touched by a neighbour as a kid. It may be worth getting his autobiography.

I don't listen to his stuff now as my partner can't stand him or his music. I would have gone to Brighton just to see what all the fuss is about. I saw him once, but it was more than enough. He was 50 years old, and it showed.
