Isn't this thread getting a bit out of hand and off topic? Yes, there are consequences of making remarks linking anyone with child abuse, such is the climate of modern Britain. Some people could take SW's comment as suggesting that PBS is a child molester, even if that wasn't the intention. So, a little more thought would not go amiss. It was an odd thing to say, SW, but it's been said and we can all only go forward.
Back to the main subject. Skool Daze is fairly pleasant. I'm not sure about the overall mix but I'm not an expert music producer. As a mere listener I have heard much worse.

Look, it's a bit jarring bearing in mind the title of the track. I'm voicing my opinion, so no need to be patronising, sarcastic and witless.

I must bow to your experience of child molestors, SW. I've always been told they look and sound like normal individuals and that's how they get away with stuff. lots of songs out there about kids and schools. Are they all Pedo Pop? How about Little Children by Billy J Kramer - Little children don't tell what you see - I'll buy you candy, take you to the movies, if you share a secret with me .. etc. Much more "sinister" than this one by PBS. But it's only a song. Let's not start branding all echoey voices on pop songs as child molestors. It's a slippery slope, and totally unrealistic.

I deem my comment to be valid - the voiceover sounds jarringly sinister to my ears, bearing in mind the title of the compisition; how it could be taken as "infantile" is beyond me. I'm merely voicing my opinion. Grow up, The Cat

I might buy it as part of a album but not as a single release. It's an ok song and with a good selection of others it might work well.
