You hit upon a good point Mart.
I heard the song a few days ago and was distinctly unimpressed... it's dross. Now, I am struggling to recall how it went.
A GOOD song is one that you hear once and that's it... it sticks in your brain and you hum or sing it to yourself. There's many great songs that did that for me - "Love Shine A Light" definitely did as did "Oooh Oooh Just A Little Bit" and I bet as you read those titles you can instantly recall them.
Looking at the list of the last few British entries... I can't remember any of those songs at all and the 2008 entry is simply another to add to that list of unmemorable songs.
What the hell is going on? None of those last few entries represent British music at all well and given the amount of talent we have... shocking.

Suppose so Mart, but that's what I mean...it's 'awful' to enter such a forgettable song. That irish turkey will get more points I swear!

I wouldn`t say it`s awful Fred, what I would say though is, I cannot recall how it goes.
Indictment enough methinks.

People who are going on about Andy being a good singer should remember what he's entered - the eurovision SONG contest not the eurovision SINGER contest!
that's why we'll lose heavily - it's an awful song. End of story.

I agree with Mike. Our last few performances have been awful. I do recall that Cliff's Power To All Our Friends performance was hit by poor sound quality, but he managed to do quite well despite that because he sang a good song very well. Likewise Bucks Fizz.
A strong delivery is important. Andy seems capable of that, although I'm not impressed by his song.
