Mart Cheers for that.
The thing is, Im playing MGMT and stuff like that and "F+++ U" crosses the line perfectly and fits in well all these years later.
Sigue Sigue Sputniks "Success" is another one for mixing into a set, which I`m playing around with currently. I judge these tracks on beat, tempo and lyrical outbursts to peoples ears as I play them.
Also in the set currently is a track by "Stump" called "Charlton Heston".
A great example of the more physical way in which modern dance/pop was created, I thought it was topical and had forgotten how good it was, although basic by todays standards, the mix by the Irresistable Force has real feeling, groove and humour.
There is a shelf life on music most of the time, but there is usually a time when it can be dusted off again.
Of course, if the dust cannot be removed, it was crap in the first place.
Manager Man "Shut Up" reached No 44 in the UK, Mart (around 1996)
Mart Yeah, "Golden Boy" is just too annoying. I couldnt stand that one, there is a fine line on this sort of stuff for me, and that one crossed it DJones.
Mart I thought someone would know more MM!
I think this would be a real goer at the moment, I will certainly give it a few spins and see how it goes down later at night, maybe around the "Time Warp" section of a set.
I think its brill.
DJones Golden Boy

was 1995/96 a world-wide hit (except in the UK).
