Mart Indeed they do, but they usually come back , hanging their heads and still use your name on their CV.
Not in the know I still ensure, with all the musicians I employ, that i get decent fees for them and that the agents commission does exist. If people want free or cheap musicians
there are plenty of rehearsal rooms they can trawl round.

I think it is the duty of the fixer to not get drawn to heavily into discounting the worth of the individuals he represents. Of course a happy medium must be reached as we all need the work, just don't let them take the piss, as they will given half a chance !
