Hedwig and the Angry Inch - one of the big underground indie hit movies of the past decades.
I think Vile Pervert is more Rocky Horror but then that was a film I was involved in breaking back in the early 70's.
Word of mouth should break Vile Pervert - if it is good enough.
Head Wig
What's all this Hedwig? An allusion to JK's multiple coloured hair in the 70s?
I see the views on Vile Pervert have now topped 20,000.
Well done Kingy.

I think the music is far better than Hedwig, with loads of hits, but then I'm slightly biased.
I think the music is better than The Rocky Horror Show and I'm less biased on that one.
But will it become a cult success? Almost 20,000 full length views in a month but it's slowing down and needs boosting.
However I've always thought it will spread through word of mouth if it has got "it".
Thanks for your positive thoughts Gary; I'm glad you like the booklet. A lot of care and attention went into the packaging, to make it worth those extra pennies.

Please, Hedwig is a classic with great songs. This is not.

Bought it from Amazon and the booklet is crammed with jewels - my favorite is Waxie Maxie, real name Maximillian Schitt, who "saw many relations perish in concentration camps through lack of concentration".
I actually choked on my tea.
Also there are loads of hits in here - Wilde About Boys, if anyone dared play it, What's A Girl To Do? - you're right, it would have walked Eurovision, Mary My Love, Shami Chakrabarti, Harold Shipman (again, if anyone dared play it) and most of all the title song Vile Pervert.
