I agree Mike and see no reason why both should not be in my top 5 films of the year (if Dark Knight lives up to the trailer).

The Dark Knight on the other hand is a masterly piece of film making with a brilliant cast , wonderful visual flair and a truly extraodinary ending. See it.
There's nothing to stop Mamma Mia being great fun at the same time as Dark Knight being "masterly". Why not see both?
