Quizzical Anyone?
Quizzical Thank you! It is indeed shaping up to be a fascinating list, although i have read Linkin Park is a lot more.

Your list begs the question however - which is the highest placed modern British artist???
itsmyparty It's very hard to get accurate figures for these sort of lists - often you're relying on certifications which either overestimate the number sold and are based on shippings, or aren't applied by record companies for once multi-platinum so underestimate the actual sales.

Despite that it is believed the Beatles "1" is the best selling UK album released this decade.

And for all albums worldwide the top 6 looks like:

Beatles - 1 26m
Norah Jones - Come Away With Me 22m
Eminem - The Marshall Mathers LP 20m
Eminem - The Eminem Show 18m
Britney Spears - Oops!...I Did It Again 16m
Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory 16m
Quizzical Does nobody at least know the best selling British album this decade????
Quizzical Hi,

I am told the best selling album of the decade worldwide is something by Linkin Park and then Norah Jones is second.

Does anyone have the Top Ten and the source of the data, and come to mention it, does anyone know where the Brits stand in this list?

Thanks.
