Mart I really like the Noah song. Classic!
JK2006 Ah yes, the Oh, oh song - been around for ages hasn't it?

Not bad but I was never a Proclaimers fan and this has a horrible Alan McGee vibe about it!

I love Drummond though - both as a human being and as a muso.
He was the only person to ask me seriously to manage him (KLF) - and, if I'd ever wanted to manage anyone, Bill and Jimmy would have been it.

By the way, yes, Beggin', it's OK but as a HUGE Four Seasons Bob Crewe fan... what can I say?
MC MC The Glasvegas single is "Daddy's Gone," which is pretty striking and original - the broadest Scottish accent to hit the charts since the Proclaimers or possibly Bill Drummond (bring back the KLF!). Sort of like a Glasgow Manic Street Preachers in some ways.
JK2006 OK - if the Eric Prydz track is PJANOO (love the title)... I've now watched the video and heard the (very monotonous) track and can quite see it setting the dance floors alight though it does rather lack lyrical value and melodic content!

I think I need some E's and lots of water (is that still "the thing" these days?) in a club on the Med to truly appreciate it.

If the Biffy track is MOUNTAINS - I rather like it; very original sounding anyway. I Am A Mountain I Am The Sea... hmmm.

Glasvegas - which is the new single?

Is the NOAH one the whistling one? 5 Years Time? In which case Dixie, I'm with you, very Jonathan Richman and very good... I like the SUN SUN SUN bit... FUN FUN FUN...

I can't listen to Weller. He's such an unpleasant man.

But the three I've now heard are damn good. Glad to have caught up with them.
JC I must admit that the only music radio I've listened to recently has been DLT on Magic FM. I have not heard any of this top 10. It's possible that I haven't heard any of the top 40.
