Jim P Totally agree, the Whybirds were amazing! Never seen them before that night, but I'll be going again!
BR Saw THE WHYBIRDS last night at THE BORDERLINE in a headline show. They are getting a great press at the moment and it will be interesting to see whether an American label picks them up for the second album. I have their debut album on play all the time in the car.

BABEL who opened for them ( from Bristol ) were also a superb band who have an album coming out in October.

The roots/americana/folk scene in the UK is really vibrant at the moment - Seth Lakeman is equally good live as well ( saw him in August )

Check out The Whybirds if you love driving rock with a hint of Americana. You wont be disappointed.
