Well it may as well be with all the glam pop tracks about at the moment, whether it's Katy Perry, Christina Aguilera's forthcoming new single or Britney's dire "Womanizer" (she even sampled "Rock'n'Roll Pt. 2" for what was the best track on her last album, of which "Womanizer" is pretty much a copy). It's not aping glam in the way Bolan did it, but how Gary did - I haven't seen a reference to his influence though in the press, not that I'd expect to...
