dixie I'm currently reading it. Very enjoyable, but PLEASE, somebody should have proof read it. It's full of typos, and, despite Johnny (Johnnie) complaining that the BBC spelt his name wrong, Johnny refers to Jimmy Hendrix and Gary Newman! Should I be typing [sic]?

Otherwise a great read.
Mart Mr Beerling has a lovely and cheerful website, I shall actually be buying his book.
His name used to muttered much in my growing up and listening to radio days, by the DJ`s on Radio 1 and I always got the impression that he never complained about this at all.
JK2006 After reading his book we needed a long session catching up on memories.

Do get his book if you go any further back than 1993!
