JK2006 The Sun Has Got HIs Hat On was... but this is the long lost followup.
Do listen to it. I think it's great fun.
andrew It is is agreat shame when it happens. But The Misunderstood all their recordings were damaged there was only enough left to release 4 CDs so they released double albums.

There should be dozen or more Misunderstood albums.
david Hi Jonathan,

I have this track on the 12 inch vinyl
"King Sized Hits" with you dressed in a sort of
uniform on the front cover.

Do you remember this disc?

Jolly good stuff .. especially Sugar Sugar
and It Only Takes A Minute .. plus many other
great choices...

David
JK2006 We producers tend to leave multi tracks at studios - they are safer there; climate controlled and so on ; but sadly as time goes by and they get sold, they simply chuck out old multi tracks. I once got a load of mine after a tip off from a member of the public who had grabbed dozens out of a skip!
Alongside some Rolling Stones multis!
Luckily I've always been easy to contact. I don't think the Stones ever saw theirs again.
andrew Is your mate a record producer? it is easy to lose a recording. have you ever heard of a band called The Misunderstood? all their records we're damaged or lost . they were all stored in a attic for years they were scratched and damp.
Their roadie had them - not the studio or the artists them selves which is odd. they have been fully restored and digitaly remastered and you can buy them on amazon. I got a album for christmas.

Another John Peel band... Phil Spector wanted them but Peel refused and took them to London where they wouldn't be harrassed by greedy producers.
