You should have come up to me and praised me for my lack of exaggeration or invention Walter.
And a nice line about Palin, Mr Stewart, Captain my Captain.

Well well, so we were in the same building at the same time it appears. I too saw Nick Stewart's panel and apart from an incoherent lawyer rambling on about VCT's , the panel was and indeed he was, excellent and as you say very witty.
Jazz and Lyor were a serious let down-far too polite and pally. No sparks there.
Very few major players from the record companies. Wasn't sure what the three days set out to achieve?
Anybody else from this board attend?

some of it borrowed, I must admit, from the daily Record of the Day sheet (from a concept invented by The Tip Sheet and since adopted at conventions all over the world).
Nick Stewart moderated an excellent and witty panel on Record Deals...
Tony Calder (Andy Oldham's ex Immediate Records partner) was spotted lurking...
Jason Flom is rumoured to be taking Korda's gig here...
Carl Barat failed to turn up for his panel due to being sick in the van (according to ROTD)...
Seymour Stein looked tanned and healthy, having lost weight, and was very good on his and Ritchie Gottehrer's panel...
Jazz Summers was "his usual self"...
I confused one of Harvey Lisberg's sons with Paul, the other son...
Chris Cowey's hair is as long as it ever was and he promised to view Vile Pervert; The Musical sitting down with brandy in hand (and a magnifying glass) so as not to be shocked by the first 60 seconds...
