Mart	It was actually the original Moog and I believe it was played by Georgio Moroder. Very valuable, and don`t nick ours anyone! A machine prone to failures but marvelous, what I like about the Chicory track is the combination of real drums with it. 7 years later, we all bought a kit called the "Transcendant 2000" and made a very similar machine which we had to build ourselves, a synth, as the first moog was, which you could only use one key at a time on. It was a while before the polyphonic keyboards came in in which you could play a chord on,the early Moogs etc would only play one note at a time. If you wanted to record a synthetic chord with a synthesized sound, you had to use up extra tracks.
Al	I love the keyboard part of "Son of my father" by Chicory Tip. Was that a Moog?
The Cat	The Upstart is Charlie Green who has topped the chart this week with 'Fly me to the Moon', although he's actually a nice kid with a great voice. The veteran is Uncle Rob Harding who comes in at 12 with 'Orwellian Rhapsody'. Tis a fair refelction of today's society, and it's quite entertaining too. The Classic is 'Son of my Father' from Chicory Tip. I remember them playing in my home town many years ago. The other new entry this week is from Blind Boris with a song called 'That's the way'. It's a sort of Rock Ballad, and quite likeable. Good climbs for the Kitchen Poet, Robert Sacchi and Quo. Paper Lace are at 2. Not a bad chart at all. http://fabchart.tripod.com
