Pete Clarke Caught a little bit of this.

I found it totally unwatchable. It was basically a load of pretentious shite.

Whatever his merits as a record producer, the man is clearly a freak.

If he hid not murder that poor girl, then I am surely a monkey's uncle.

He can sue me if he likes.
emmapeelfanclub A most interesting film that over the last 40 years or so would had been unthinkable, so it's a very strange experience seeing Spector talking at great length. Rather unsettling with the trial footage underlying it... a strange and compelling audience with a unique talent.
JK2006 I enjoyed the show which concentrated on the music although it could have gone into greater detail about the music... Lovin' Feeling is, I believe, the greatest record ever made and I remember the first time I heard it was the same as the first time I saw Michelangelo's statue of David.
JK2006 For me, the greatest influence on pop music in the last century of anyone - and that includes Dylan, Lennon, Jagger and others.

I got a sweet message from him thanking me for my supportive tribute video on You Tube.

I have no knowledge of his guilt or innocence and do not care - we are discussing art creation here, not morality.

Michelangelo could have murdered all Italy and it wouldn't dent his achievements as an artiste.

Do watch the BBC show tonight if you want to see a truly great creative force.
