Michael Even Lil Louis' "French Kiss" was reasonably well produced, despite its one-trick-pony feel.

Bear in mind that hit records are often re-mixed per territory in Europe. France and the UK go for softer sounds, Belgium and Germany can dig a bit of rough. I can't really think of the last time something produced like this was a HIT (which was the original message). That means lots of heavy rotation on chart radio. I can't hear it for the moment.

But then, I could be wrong - wouldn't be the first time.
Kev Alex, it needs re-mixing, I.e. Not necessarily re-working but revisiting the initial mix, the music is way too low.
Martin K This song has got people talking, and that is a major plus.
And re-The Birdy Song....It was never turned down by a company down here, for publishing rights.
Ok maybe it was...........
Alex I think its charm and commerciality lies in the tacky, one dimensional feel.
Your suggestion is like saying The Birdie Song would be improved by adding the London Philharmonic!

Martin - you can download an mp3 from the Myspace site I think.
But I have to tell you it sounds huge just as it is.
Why muck about with a monster?
Plus the Yanks don't take too kindly to Euro adapting!

It's not a monster, it's a promising demo. One thing they do take kindly to is a business proposition.
