Occasional shuddering - you know, the pixillated effect - but generally OK.

Have you had any problem with digital TV signals? A few in London have been reporting of pictures vanishing and I presume digital radio uses the same transmitter...
The main transmitter in Crystal Palace is currently undergoing "maintenance" and isn't due to finish until next May. That could possibly be the source of this problem.

Yes I even switched off that "search for a better signal" option but it improved nothing so I went back to it.
It is infuriating but I have to say it wasn't nearly as bad months ago; it seems to have increased recently.
I'm trying to remember whether it did it in Europe. It certainly didn't in North Africa but I think that's still analogue.

Mine does the same.
techie in halfords reckons the uks didgital coverage isnt all that yet, and it will improve in time. he could have been telling me that to stop me getting a refund on the radio I bought though!
My radio automatically searches out the strongest possible signal for the station I'm listening to.
hence switching between FM and digital, and appearing to "jump" like a fluffy needle on a record. (remember them?)
thing is, FM and digital are broadcast a split second apart, so it can cut out, then repeat itself, or it goes the other way and misses segments of X show altogether.
Irritating to say the least, but apparently not an uncommon problem!

i was listening to an interview the other day and missed the whole thing when mine cut out i thought it was just me as well
