I used to the bass player (and even wrote half a song with him, unreleased alas). Their roots went back to the doo wop sound of Philadelphia. The tragedy was that at one stage they lost their name to one of their many producers and couldn't legally use their own name.
However, they have being giving shows in the States recently, so maybe the thing was sorted out.
I also liked "Hold Back the Night".
Othe disco hits I liked: "Ring my Bell", "Ladies Night" and "Celebration" by Kool & The Gang, "Cuba" by the Gibson Brothers, "I Feel Love", some Cerrone and Giorgio Moroder. Good memories (pretty wild times, pre Aids).
