GG	Here Here BR! Yes indeed. Water Rats...... fantastic place to see a band.
BR	Notts venue JUNkION 7 to close NYE - just announced.
BR	Many people will be going out over Christmas and if you want to help the music industry then please drink in these venues and take your "Party" to these places. We are seeing METRO close in Jan - venues everywhere are under threat. THESE FOUR VENUES are crucial places for bands to Showcase and play on the way up - they all have BARS which are FREE much of the time - rather than give your cash to FACELESS pub chains why not support LONDON MUSIC venues in this recession. Take your friends. Together we can be positive and help venues work through the recession. BULL AND GATE KENTISH TOWN Great bars - good sound - good vibe BARFLY CAMDEN TOWN CHALK ROAD New refurbed - sofas - good sound system - free downstairs on weekdays WATER RATS KINGS CROSS Always a great night out - bags of atmosphere in the bar - cosy and christmassy - good band selection THE FLY NEW OXFORD ST Two level venue recently totally refurbed - free upstairs Mon - Friday - drinks offers - real music heaven - many stars hang out in the bar - in recent weeks the KAISERS - MORRISEY - FUTUREHEADS etc have been in the bar. The West End's Hawley ! Great bands as well and voted in the Top 10 World Venues by Easyjet magazine in November !
