The Cat Back on track after the Festive season, the Fabbers bring us six new songs which I've not heard before, even though I am familiar with four of the artists.

Highest new entry comes from Aiden Scofield and once I got past the short intro I got sucked into a truly wonderful song.

The Foreboding at 12 is enjoyably mournful, with a warm cello accompaniment.

Rose Reiter's song at 14 is kinda light and fluffy, but leaves you feeling happy.

Steve Wislon at 15 has a quality accoustic piece which deserves a wider audience.

Nisa C's entry at 18 is possibly my least favourite, but that's only because this week's standard is so high.

Then there is Mark Ellis at 20 with his Might Oak slice of Folk.

Compo and Nora hold on to the top spot. I had suspected to see Roy Wood there but he settles at 2. A good climb for Mart this week.

The Christmas songs have slipped from the top 10, with the exception of Squire and White at 8.

A brand New Year - a fresh start with some fresh sounds. Cool stuff.
