GG Knowing many of the people at V2 since its inception, I always felt the US branch particularly was as cautious as a major in many dealings. Richard as a figurehead aside. I have a pretty good idea who will run his tv station, and I think he may have something bigger up his sleeve than what most people are thinking. I'll poke around and see what I hear, and post when I do.

dixie Sorry to say, "your impression" turned out to be wrong. Branson has retained a 5% interest in V2 only.
Billy Bob Thornton's excuse my non-industry naivete, but I was under the impression that Branson was only selling the USA operation of V2 records?

with Bloc Party, stereophonics etc I figured the UK sub was doing pretty well.. plus they've been signing bands all year...?
