JK2006 Both are from 1978 and I agree, neither are great but I think mine was before his.

Mixed opinions, clearly. I'm not keen on my track but it is hypnotic and does sound better at high volume in the sunshine!
david jk, when did you record yours?

as far as I know Gainbourg's was in '76.

but to be honest, both of you have done far better things
Radio Twoer Actually I think it's catchy if repetitious and could be one of those massive summer club trax - that goes on and on whilst the kids are drinking lots of water!
giles2008 Oh god i hope not. Might make a theme tune to a reality show about drunken Brits abroad though. Not one of your better efforts JK. Be interesting to see the reaction if it did get to number one though. Spent an enjoyable hour listening to your old hits yesterday. Ive not heard Loop Di Love for years. Bought back some memories that did. Silver Jubilee party in Pompey Guildhall Square back in 77. Conga of about 1000 people. Reckon they would still do it today to that one.
JK2006 That's brilliant Mike; I love the black girls dancing!

You (and Serge) have spotted my intentions exactly.

Incidentally, mine was written and recorded long before his!
