Sweden did a similar song with "Invincible" the year Lordi won it. That year Malta sent an Erasure impersonator (Fabrizio Faniello).Malta this year have entered a Celine Dion soundalike(Chiara). The ESC would be dead without its gay following. I rather like this song but its style is too much like the Sarah Brightman dance mix from a few years back. And for that reason it doesnt stand a cat in hells chance.

I didn't realise so many Eurovision fans were gay. The majority I have met seem to be completely A-sexual anoraks.

she does look like a drag act, i am not convinced about her performance either as a singer or a woman

Malena Ernman with La Voix will be the favourite come Eurovision night if selected and deserves to be.
JK had a far classier operatic track in the 2000 song for europe contest. "Aria" which somehow appeared on a tipsheet CD a long time before ! Perhaps it went back in a tardis ?
The vocalist of that song,Helen Horlyck, had a range that this woman cannot hit and we are going to have the "Drama Queen" of 2009 as it fails to get to the final.
This is referred to as "fanwank" and that is what it is. She won't be anywhere near a favourite. Not that being favourite means anything. Ask DJ Bobo and Anna Vissi.
This kind of song really does appeal to the worst excesses of gay taste and nothing else.
