giles2008 Hurley represented Ireland in the Eurovision song contst in 1976. He came tenth. The song was called " When".
Al The best version I heard of this song was back in the early 70s. I think the group were called the Four Galileans.

More recently Aled Jones did a good cover. I prefer his voice now to when he was a choirboy.
JK2006 The Elvis version

sorry to be difficult but I far prefer Red Hurley's treatment.

And as for the magnificent Johnny Cash - his was not his greatest performance.
mickeyone I have to say that Elvis did a much more tuneful and emotive version of this wonderful song.
JK2006 Red Hurley - How Great Thou Art

Well picked Terry.

The ending is fabulous
We were ahead of him on Eva Cassidy; he beats us on this.
