ERfan Callum did handle it well and he is a little star. His whole family are very nice. The only thing that annoyed me was Amanda saying that if he didn't make the final then people had her to answer to, then she voted him out herself. But yeah Callum was very pleased to get that far and to receive lots of words of support and encouragement. He won't go to pieces over this.

All I can say now is COME ON DIVERSITY!!
JC He seems a bright enough kid and most likely knew he might not get through. I thought he took it very well. Life isn't easy and kids have to learn at some point. To shelter them from failure and disappointment is more of an abuse. The important thing is that, while they might fail in a contest, we point out their good points and give them encouragement to try again.

Kids are people and deserve as much respect as the rest of us. Plus we have the responsibility to prepare them for the ups and downs of life. wrapping them in cotton wool does them no favours at all.
JK2006 Putting him into the semi final, allowing him to reach the last three and then rejecting him on national television in front of millions watching his little face crumple was abuse.

Especially as, to be honest, he can't sing.
JC Callum dressed appropriately for his act, just as Tom Daley dressed appropriately to dive for Britain in the Olympics. Both were near naked and neither of them won, but I don't think anyone could seriously suggest they were cases of child abuse.
JK2006 Yes I actually thought the woman with tits would win it; great attitude.

I was not convinced that having a nearly naked child on stage and then humiliating him by voting him off was a good idea but then society seems to approve of my idea of child abuse whilst condemning non existant ancient wanks.
