I remember watching Pat Boone's performance on The Original Amateur Hour when i lived across the waters! JK2006	Overall of course there were two winners - Simon Cowell and us, the viewers. Whatever the faults and problems it was a tremendous series. I don't think the "abandon kids" rule would work (after all Diversity, worthy winners, had a couple of great kids providing essential ingredients). But I do think greater control of granting places to kids just because they are cute is needed - far stronger filtering before the TV stages. But what a terrific series. Yes, Hughie Green got there first but Simon has perfected the art. Mind you, would you want carved on your tombstone "Great Hughie Green copy"?
Emma Bee	Delighted for the guys. And Susan Boyle was gracious in defeat. Actually she looked quite releived.
