JK2006 Listening to Another Side of Bob Dylan for the first time in years, what is amazing is the strength of the melodies delivered by that strange nasal whine and harmonica squeal. Chimes of Freedom (my favourite), Don't Think Twice, I Was So Much Older Then... But most of all, do check out his incredible All I Really Wanna Do.

Far more commercially populist hits by the Byrds and Cher illustrate the tune but Dylan's version is so funny and such a lyrical delight, you must dig it out and listen again.

And I believe those early albums were all one take, no overdubs!
