JK2006 About 20 years ago, in my bedroom studio (it sounds like it) I put together a Board Game (or, as I called it, a Bored Game).

I took one short 2 minute backing track and, by slowing it down, speeding it up, changing the balances but only allowing myself to add vocal parts, I tried to write ten totally different songs with peoples' names in each title.

Completely different melodies and lyrics to the same chords and rhythms.

It was a song writing exercise and, I think, very successful and rather fun.

We only pressed up 2000 - 1000 CDs and 1000 cassettes; all bought in bulk by Our Price and sold exclusively in their stores.

They do sometimes emerge on e bay.

I'd be interested to hear from anyone who has one, with their opinions.

I called it ANTICLONING and the artwork featured the Sebastian Kruger cartoon used on this site (he wasn't paid; I wrote a song about him for the album in exchange).

Ahead of its time and a project worth examining by better musicians than I.
