JK2006 And further Googled info...

Chas Mills subsequently retired from the music industry to run a restaurant in North London.

Anyone know the name?

Theres info and a further link here JK, which i presume youve seen but just in case you havent..Definitely not Chas and Dave by the way cos hes a Charlie Hodges.Chas Mills appeared on albums by Alan Price,Paul Jones and Chris Spedding. According to the list over on Discogs he was also a member of First Class. It seems to credit him as playing on "Beach Baby".Must admit id not heard "Lady Godiva" before. Its really good.
JK2006 I always thought Mike was one of Britain's greatest and most under estimated talents.

Prompted to play the wonderful Lady Godiva when Gordon Waller died; I find through Google trawling that Mike co-wrote that with Chas Mills - would that be Chas'n'Dave?

It's a superb, clever, funny lyric. Do check it out.

Eddie S; if you're reading this, give us some more on Mike!
