Brian Complete agree - they've ruined X Factor.
Also completely agree - Ben Elton's novel. Throughout last year's series could almost check off each ploy in the book against a similar scenario in the show.
In some ways made the series quite entertaining!
Twitter-er After reading Ben Eltons 'Chart Throb' I won't be watching X Factor or the like again. Although the book is a work of fiction, I couldn't help but realise a lot of what it was reporting was probably close to what happens in real life. Nasty stuff.

Oh, and I agree Charlie Brooker is great.
