I remember when I first saw it I thought it had just got going when it fizzled out. It had a lot of promise, but I felt disappointed at the end.

Mistic River was a betrayal of trust between very good friends another movie seeing once but thats it I saw about 9 months ago and still remember every part.
Clint Eastwood directed this brillanty I love Kevin Bacon in all his movies. Cameo in Planes, Trains, Automoblies very funny scene.

...a complete lack of continuity of Robin Williams wigs!
One minute he was bald, one minute he had a mouse blonde barnet, followed by a Marylin Monroe colour, but the most signifigant one, was a rug, that had a patch of hair pasted just above his left eye.
I love the film, and this was my third viewing, but on this watching, I get the impression, that it was filmed over a long period of time, whilst many other projects were going on.
It is avery sad story, and I am sure this sort of thing happens all the time, without the violent conclusion.

I just watched One Hour Photo - it has to be one of the psychological thrillers so far. Chilling performance by Robin Williams; not a favourite of mine but brilliant in this.
