JC Vera Lynn just doesnt sound right without some crackle. I dug out my old vinyl and gave it a spin to celebrate her success. Wonderful songs.. I have her autograph on an old rupee note from when my grandfather was in Burma and she was entertaining the troops.

JK2006 I gather they are fantastic - several friends have told me that.

Plus I have to say; any excuse to make people who were not aware of them hear those fabulous songs for the first time.
Emma Bee I now understand that these are remastered copies. Does anyone know if the remastered tracks are much better than the originals? I think they were fine as they were, and they reflected the times they were recorded in, so I'll probably just stick to the originals - but I'll try give the new ones a listen anyway.
