Kev Interesting Keane song me thinks. First time I heard it I didn't really rate it, compared to the quality of songs on their last album. But, turns out it's a grower for me. Sounds a lot like a U2 song which also tend to be growers for me.
Popster can you post Kevin Jonson's song on Listen here so we can compare?
Martin K I would say it is probably a safer occupation to mock vocal acrobatics, than a prisoner with tatooes!
Can you imagine the din that Maria Carey would make doing a cover version of Sandi Thom`s song??
And, the sheet music would have to be written across bass and treble clef.....
JK2006 Keane open the show and the singer with the dimple still hasn't shaved or bought a shirt one size larger.
And I quite like the band.
Ronan and Kate do their pleasant MOR/country single in an inoffensive fashion.
How awful to be that young and that inoffensive.
Then Mariah from 1992 doing her oversinging act.
Once a session singer, always a session singer.
The TOTP caption writer refers to her seven octave range - and not one note of soul in the lot!
A Lost Prophets exclusive... I rather like this band; a kind of rock Placebo.
I cannot understand tattoos. I spent much of my time in prison mocking tattoos. A lot of inmates have them, for no good reason. So I used to goad them. Well, it kept me amused!
Leann Rimes is a truly excellent singer with all the correct instincts. Her single is only OK though.
I'd love her to do one of my songs. She really adds to it.
All American Rejects are rather good in that US well crafted without a stitch of originality way.
Three Lions to get us in the mood.
It didn't come home, as I remember.
Then Duncan Blue James...
Lyrics made me wince...
The Streets Never Went To Church... I've come to really like Skinner.
Yes, I really, really like Mike Skinner and his Streets.
And out with Sandi and her rewrite of Kevin Johnson's Rock'n'Roll I Gave You The Best Years Of My Life...
He should sue. In fact, I'm e-mailing him this very second.
