dixie	What I'd like to know is who ACTUALLY wrote the letter to a young Simon? Probably his brother. And, i can vouch what JK is saying is 100% true.
JK2006	I did indeed have a role in that appointment but I urged Richard, when he got the job, to retain Simon who others were telling him to fire.
Blue Boy	Jonathon, I aasume this was before Richard Griffiths was employed by BMG, or did you have a role in getting Richard that job ?
BR	Just goes to show that 90% of what is in the papers is not true. Simon Cowell is very successful and I admire his work ethic and the way in which he has looked after some of his acts. It would be nice to think that he would ditch Max Clifford and his LIE machine. Max Clifford is the best at what he does ( making up stories and getting them onto the front pages of the Sunday press ) but the falling sales show that the public has got bored with his antics. A bigger story would be Simon Cowell actually speaking about the 90s honestly. Perhaps another PR company might pitch that one to him and get him away from Max Clifford's evil grasp.
JK2006	writing to his younger self, seems to have forgotten to mention his mentor throughout the 90s. He does mention Richard Griffiths, who his mentor introduced him to. I wonder why. Morning, Max.
