JC Actually I prefer the books. For me the movies don't capture the magic. They are ok as movies go, but the books allow more scope for the imagination and, like all books, take you to places no movies can.
JK2006 of Lord of the Rings before turning over to the 50 year old Sauron on X Factor, I was confirmed in my opinion - Tolkein was a crap writer but the films contain spectacular cinematography.
