JK2006 A guilty pleasure and a very hidden personal favourite Smokey track...

david Smokey Robinson has a great voice, tho it has taken me years to recognise it- it's so understated but is all the more emotive as a result.
JK2006 One of our truly greatest living songwriters (ask any composer).
I remember when I interviewed him and told him that he was genuinely touched and humble.
Very simple but brilliant lyrics with fabulous melodies.
Check out Tracks of My Tears and Tears of a Clown.

Pure genius.
