JK2006 Indedependent? Shurley shome mishtake?
david how is the FAB chart compiled? I seem to remember knowing once...
The Cat Flying the flag for variety as usual. Eric Bradford takes the top spot with his "Action Kitchem". This is so spontaneous and surreal I love it. Something else good to come out of Sweden.

Highest new entry at 12 is United Artists Remember with their British Legion song "We Will Remember Them". This one didn't inspire me on first hearing but it's growing on me now.

I never really imagined that "Video Killed the Radio Star" would work as an accoustic guitar solo, but Sungha Jung pulls it off well at 14.

"Midwinter" by Cosmic Hoot brings the first hint of Christmas at 17 this week. A gentle slice of Folky entertainment.

The Stargazers enter at 19 with "Hey Marie". I'm sure I have the 45 of this tucked away somewhere in my archives. I seem to recall buying it from my town's small and groovy independent record shop during the mid 80s, so it's not new but it's rather cool.

Tusk climbs seven to 10.
