I think the news of Robbie's death has been greatly exaggerated.

But with the incredible effort put in by labels to hype fading artistes these days (who cares about the chart?) this illustrates the speed that careers fade.
I have to say I think neither Leona nor Robbie have any interpretive talent whatsoever. Robbie had charisma when he was young and cute. Leona had TV exposure. End of story. End of careers.I wouldn't be so quick to write off Robbie. I know so many 'housewives' who fell out of love with him during the Rudebox time who were all sceptical after the X-Factor performance but now after the JR and Slutty Women appearances are right back to the quivering sad wrecks they used to be whenever they saw him! And they have money...

A trifle unfair? I know you like to stir the pot a bit JK, but I fear you've been on the Xmas sherry this afternoon! Have you seen the sales?
Robbie's had the second highest weekly sales this year and was just 1k behind JLS.
238k in this climate is simply incredible. Far higher than the other high selling album acts this year such as Eminem, Michael Jackson, Lily Allen, Alexndra Burke, Muse, Cheryl Cole, U2.
In fact in the last 3 years only Coldplay's first week Viva la Vida's sales, Leona's highest two weeks of Spirit sales and Take That's Xmas-inflated The Circus sales would have kept it from number 1. He's just been unlucky to come up against the boyband phenomenom returning to these shores, with Epic cleverly selling the JLS album with alternative cover art to boost sales.
