There has been much debate about "small gigs" and the lack of value in a 30 minute set for £5 - £10.

At "South of the Border" one of the newest and most well appointed venues in Hoxton on the main Old Street are offering ONE HOUR sets. If you have a band that wants to play a decent length set in London in 2010 it is fully booked until Feb - but are looking for quality bands who want to give their fans a better value. Some bands are doing 2 30 minute sets ( one unplugged and one band ) contact them via garagerocknights@aol.com putting ONE HOUR sets in the subject line.

This is an ideal way to launch an album or to showcase in more depth. It has proved to be very popular in 2009 with 70% of shows selling out.

South of the Border is one of the best small venues in central London.
