JK2006	And even the commercials were better back then - remember the XXXX one with the Aussie housewife trying to persuade lazy hubby to go out and he says "do you really want to go out?" and she says "yes" and he says "bring us back a couple of cans of XXXX then". Love it.
JK2006	Listening in the car to the CD burned from an MP3 taken from an off air cassette of Capital in 1986 - I played 6-7 tracks over the first 20 minutes without saying a word - and all future classics! Tim Blackmore, when he was PD, was tipped off that my shows (then sitting in for Nicky Horne) were fantastic and could he come into the studio one evening. After the show, over dinner, he said "yes, it was brilliant but you hardly said a word". I replied - that, on music radio, is why the shows work... music! Doesn't anyone just play music anymore? and, more important, the RIGHT music?
