Michael "This video contains content from Channel 4, who has decided to block it in your country."

Oh well.
Chris Retro Emma - here's a link to some Nathan Barley, there's some more on youtube too
www.youtube.com/show?p=IIlEtvsNR9s&pl=F0B08368AE78540E

Harry - I got and appreciated TV Burp 4,5,6 years ago. Now I find it a shadow of it's former self and hard for me to enjoy. Harry Hill for me has become a dilute version of what we loved him for in the first place.

And I wasn't COMPARING Charlie Brooker with Chris Morris, I was simply stating a fact - Nathan Barley was a Morris-Brooker 50-50 collaberation. I thought it superb, so do most of my associates. It won't get a repeat run because it's basically an entertaining swipe at the narcisstic faux-ironic idiots who are taking over UK media, so take a look and see what you think.
His "Wipe" shows are just part of what Charlie Brooker does, I find them agreeable and entertaining.
Harry Rednapp Talk about missing the point - HH is 'post modernist', subtle, surreal, inventive within a mainstream medium - (compare with Jeremy Beadle? - I dont think so...)

I find that more interesting, innovative and funnier than blokes(like Brooker..and the like..) who just go 'oh...look at that , its crap...Im so superior in my tastes, views and outlook...anyone who watches this is a retard unlike me and my intellectual mates...harharhar!'

And you cannot compare with Chris Morris - who DID/DOES do something cutting edge & interesting (and has a point)& FUNNY - without having to just point at other things and say 'oh...thats sooo beneath me...!'

sarcastically using withering putdowns in a superior manner is just as easy as all the things that he is criticising...
Emma Bee I've never heard of Nathan Barley. What channel was that on? But I found The Office very unfunny.
Chris Retro IMO Harry Hill has become so mainstream in recent years that, coupled with the fact it's mainly 'reviewing' pseudo-reality gubbins, TV Burp has descended into a back-slapping cliché with no edge to it whatsoever. It's as if he can no longer 'bite the hand that feeds' and the show has lost all its teeth. Whereas Brooker, while no doubt 'playing a role', does not shy away from telling it like it is (in print or on tv). Dont forget that with Chris Morris he was responsible for the greatest comedy of the last decade (bar The Office) Nathan Barley, a pointed attack on the idiots who now dictate the awful non7en7e on tv
