david for me song structure isn't always important.

what this does for me is carry me along on a wave with great lyrics.

Bobbie Je t'aime I love the arrangement and production but the song doesn't seem to be going anywhere, shame.
david The daughter of Serge Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin has released an album IRM with Beck, and I have to say it's bloody marvellous, picking up plenty of press in the States.

With her parentage, maverick French outlaw Gainsbourg and his muse Birkin, you'd expect something a bit leftfield. And that's what you get.

She has progressed a long way from her controversial teenage album with her father which would probably have broken laws in the uk due to its lyrical content. It came close to that in France, but esacped censorship, probably because of the iconic status of her dad.

I don't often find myself excited about new music these days, but this is bloody good.
