I think it's called pandering to public demand, but I mainly agree with you, JK.
Even so, The Who do Who songs better than anyone else, even at their great age.

I always find it rather sad when my age group tries to recapture the sound and look from 50 years ago... we were teenagers then, Roger and Pete, and our voices reached those high notes. And our muscles didn't look stiff doing those wheely guitar moves. And we didn't stagger slightly when walking. And our shoulders weren't bulky and aching and plumped up by 65 years of food and fine wine.
Don't ruin our memories.
Do new stuff that suits our new age and stage in life.
Don't try to replicate the past; no matter how great the financial reward.
Next year - JK does Everyone's Gone To The Moon? No way; but he is available to do Wilde About Boys.
