JK2006 Sadly Blue Boy we are all in trouble - I have first hand experience; I was one of the earliest.
Bob is a decent man with correct morals but he fell for the benefits of celebrity without looking at the consequences. I feel sorry for him. And I do hope the inevitability does not occur.
Blue Boy Thank you JK for publishing my post and giving your explanation.

I agree with those that believe that the media is wrong in making unfounded allegations and using their platform to conduct vendettas against selected individuals. I believe you have suffered (and probably continue) to suffer from this treatment so please don't do the same to others. All your comments about Live Aid are fine as they are opinions on events and their impact on other charities etc. When you start bringing in suggestions of finanvial irregularities and underage sex activities you have crossed the line. In both cases your only justification is that he had opportunity. Well if that is the basis for suspicion then we are all in trouble.
JK2006 Well Blue Boy, I don't hate Bob; in fact I like him - but I have always said he made a terrible mistake shaking hands with the devil. Band Aid was badly thought out and executed; it removed money from better organized existing charities; it gave preening celebrities an excuse to pretend they cared; it gave hypocritical members of the public an excuse to pretend they cared. And it lined the pockets of corrupt officials and war lords. I said all this at the time and got crucified for daring to do so.

As for false allegations, I certainly hope Bob doesn't get to suffer from any but times have changed and I think it could well happen, provoked by his outrage.
Blue Boy JK, I'm afraid I've lost a lot of respect for you with this post. How can you on one hand criticise the media of conducting a witch hunt against yourself by printing unsubstantiated stories and then do it yourself against another public figure.

This website is part of the new media and in my opinion your use of it to spread rumours and promote your own agenda against Bob Geldof is no different to Murdoch et al.

I was genuinely puzzled about the cryptic post, just didn't understand it. After your explanation I did some googling and found out about your history with Mr Geldof. Even if you hate the man it doesn't give you the right to suggest underage sexual activities without proof. You know how mud sticks so why are you throwing so much at Bob Geldof.

I don't know anything about Geldof's relationship with the Live Aid money but I do know that it was run by a trust and lots of individuals from different backgrounds which in my opinion makes any fraudulent activities extremely difficult if not impossible.
JK2006 Blue Boy this has obviously puzzled you... "Miss" was just a jokey way of using the quote, yes, the implication is that Bob may have benefitted in other ways from his noble crusade and this kind of thing inevitably prompts false allegations about elderly pop stars - some school gig years ago can be claimed to have involved romance - that sort of thing.
