Prunella Minge	Yes. It's one of those songs that, unless you've the technique AND the sincerity, sounds like someone doing really tiresome and exhausting shift work late at night. And singers seem to AIM for that sound these days!
JK2006	I turned on the radio and there was a version of the wonderful Dreamgirls showstopper - it was awful. The girl was hitting the notes but totally lacked real emotion or any originality or interpretation. I found myself wishing she was going. When she did it was revealed - a Glee cover. No surprise there! Karaoke rools in this drab new century.
