That's a coincidence, I've been in nostalgic mode this week perusing this site:
Fascinating. Also prompted by the soundtrack to an old John Le Mesurier 'Wednesday Play' I found to dig out the Kinks' 'Village Green Preservation Society' - absolutely infectiously good! What an era.

One day in the tiny, cupboard sized backstage "dressing room" at the Marquee Club in Wardour Street, waiting to go on to do Radio London appearances for our singles... four Decca artistes - The Rolling Stones, The Who, Jonathan King and The Small Faces - all high in the charts... oh, happy days.
