JK2006 No DJ that was a rumour!
DJones Didn't you plan to write a book/musical about Coward?
JK2006 Stephen Sondheim is in The Times today slagging off Noel Coward.
Now I think Noel was near genius and I actually don't rate Sondheim (though Send In The Clowns is marvellous).

Horses for courses; last week Graham Norton played Honey with, I think, the worst rhyme ever written (she hugged my neck... what the heck...).

I adore the work of Smokey Robinson... Dylan... Leonard Cohen... Joni Mitchell...

As essentially a lyricist - any other loves/hates?
