DJones	I think Dixie is right: The iTunes chart is based on an much shorter time span (24h?). And there are (or at least there used to be) all kinds of rules for the "Official" Charts which ensure that some sales are more important than others.

OCC chart uses more than just ITunes data to compile its charts and even if ITunes are 95%, that still leaves 5% from other retailers. When comparing charts, don't forget to consider all factors. For example we know the OCC is compiled over 7 days Sunday to Saturday. Do you know the criteria for ITunes' chart? I suspect it's time period is much shorter than 7 days, and, as it's job is to encourage sales, gives more importance to very recent transactions.
